Download.CHIP.eu
Download.chip.eu is the first and only interactive download center. It was created in spring 2007. Today more than 80.000 useful software in 11 languages can be found and downloaded. The Hungarian section has several thousand programs with Hungarian description and this number is rising. This site aims to build a community that helps solving IT problems in 11 languages. The most active users are remunerated and sometimes asked to assist the authors of the print magazine and our online editors.
Why is the system different?
The rising number of the users on its own does not make the system interactive. If somebody registers and enters the site, he becomes a CHIP editor. New downloads or patches, language versions for the existing ones can be recommended by him. If you upload a program, which was not in the system earlier, you become an expert of it. In addition, in case you provide the community with much useful information, you may become an expert of the given category or later the whole page’s first editor who is highly respected within the community. Credits will be given for every activity and later on the credits can be exchanged for valuable presents and ranks can also be achieved. Only the sky is the limit, if you are the best in the community later you may become an advisor or even an editor of CHIP. Besides being able to download several thousands of software, other interesting functions are available. About every tool, which can be found on the site, you can write a test which will be published thus helping your fellows. Of course credits will be given for this kind of activity as well. Every test can be commented during reading, this way helping those who would read the article later on. Furthermore any user can help his fellow users within the community. Any user can make a question and any answers can be answered. And of course the system will reward the contributors. Who knows, maybe you will be the best among the best.
